If your computer is running well, it wouldn't hurt to wait a little while longer. If you just can't wait, here's a little reading material for you...

Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) Support Center

The old saying..."If it ain't broke don't fix it" comes to mind. I have the SP2 CD in my drawer right now, but will wait another few weeks before I cross my fingers and install. :) (y)

Take a read through http://forums.techguy.org/showthread.php?t=259200 and it should give you some idea of what's going on with SP2. This thread was started before SP2 was "offically released" to the general public and continues still. And, you can search this forum for "SP2" and take a look.

Personally, I'm taking the "wait and see" approach. I'll point out that not everyone is having problems with SP2.

I say "DONT" it crshed my system and now I have to wait for 1 to 3 days for level 2 support to contact me and tell me how I can get my system back on line. MSN also told me that they dont have all the bugs worked out of it yet. But its your choice. I pray all goes well for you if you decide to download it.
