    OS = XP SP2

    My new ISP has Anti Virus and Spam Blocking software, I also use AVG Free edition, I haven't had any Spam since Nov. 2006 when I got the new ISP.

    In the past couple of days I have been getting hit with some Spam, peddling AutoCad and Medications, Viagra etc.

    I need to know what are the recommended Spam Blockers, preferably Free if possible.

    What are the recommendations??

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    First never open the spam but delete it. Better yet get MailWasher and then you can delete it from the server.

    http://www.mailwasher.net/

    They have a Free and paid version both.

    You did not say who the new ISP is but with Comcast if you signed up to get news letters your find in the find print your get 3rd party email.
    So if you did something like that then go back and read up and if it is the same type of thing then start a new email account name.
    Then with comcast if you got to there site and go to the webmail you can can get to your mail also but to the account setting too. Like dealing with spam. I got mine so any spam gets deleted so I never see it and none has every gotten into my inbox and it's been over 4 years.
