Speaker Issues

When I go to the volume button in the bottom right it says I don't have a audio device connected, but my computer has speakers built into the monitor that worked up until today. When I go to audio devices in sound settings the speaker is now under input devices rather then output and I don't know how to switch it back if that is what is causing the issue. I also never intentionally switched it to input in the first place.

Which OS are you using?

Check the audio chipset status in Device Manager. Also, you should be able to select the speakers in the output device section IF the audio chipset is working properly and the chipset/cpeakers are detected.
