i got a question on my mind
i just wondering which hardware i should go, sound card or speaker if i wanna upgrade my pc sound performance.
My current sound card is integrated AC'97 and with normal 600watt subwofer and stereo speaker.
I want to listening music, watching DVD and play games with extreamely realistic sound but don't know which one i should buy.

    thats probably 600watts pmpo

for casual and even music use the ac97 (if its 4.1) is excellent

get new speakers preferably klipsch, altec lansing, or creative.

if u already have an expensive set of speakers, go for a hercules or a creative audigy card

is it worth to buy a expensive speaker like altec lansing by using the AC'97 sound system?
How about a headphone? is there any headphone can produce 5.1 channel sound?

yh plantronics dsp. but if u have the ac97 with 5.1 surround, its quit good

i would recommend u shell ur speakers out first, then save up and by a new sound card seconf
