for some reason when i diagnostic my soundblaster audigy 2zs card, the side speakers become the rear speakers (both right and left) and the rear right speaker becomes my side left , and there is NO sound on the rear left at all.
I dont know if its service pack 2 causing the problem, anyone that have experienced this problem before? i have reinstalled the soundblaster drivers and programs and didnt work at all! i hope you can help me out!

    Thank you very much

    sincerely

Sure you got the cables hooked up right? That sounds almost stereotypical. But, then again, could be sompin weird.

Service Pack 2 aint the problem.

I guess by "diagnostic my soundblaster audigy" you mean going into AudioHQ (or the equivalent) and running test under speakers. It sounds like you have a 5.1 set of speakers do you have that selected under the speaker selection box, are the wires plugged into the speakers correctly and are the jacks plugged into the right inputs on the sound card?

I have 7.1 and i go to speakers settings to do the changes..and its already set as 7.1, the qires are set in the correct input ..so i think there might be some kind of conflict with the software or maybe drivers..

the only changes ive made so far was i changed the Soundcard to another pci slot..would that matter? i checked the the soundcard uses IRQ 17 as well as the integrated sound that came with the computer, and Via Rev 5 or later USB universal host companion controller, would those may be causing the problem?
