Hello, I usually switch my speakers around between my PC and my PS4 controller, and yesterday I plugged them into the controller and it worked fine but today I put them back into the PC and it isn't working. I've tried every port front and back or the PC that the plug would fit into but it does not seem to work. The speakers still turn on/light up and I get a static sound each time I plug it into another port but no sound would play from the PC
What is the device status in Device Manager? Have you verified the audio configuration (ie: default output device)? Have you verified all of the volume settings to ensure nothing is muted?
It isn't appearing in the device manager and the others questions yes I've checked those. This isn't the first time I switched my speakers between PS4 and PC.
Is the audio chipset listed in Device Manager? If so, what is the status?
