Our salesman has a 1.3 Ghz Dell Inspiron running XP Pro with Norton SystemWorks 2002 that he received last summer. When I first loaded the Norton, Speed Disk would run perfectly fine. As of lately, whenever I run SpeedDisk on it, it has not been able to go past 97%. One time in the last 2 months, it actually went to 100%, but that was the one and only time. It is set to show alarm at 97%, since it is a 30 GB drive. It does seem to take forever, even though there's not very much on the drive. Norton never reports any errors or anything. Anybody have any clue what's going on here???

I have run everything on this laptop. I finally resorted to try defrag. Did get a report from that as to what couldn't be defragged. Had something to do with drivers and that kind of stuff. I don't have the laptop with me tonight or I'd just post a list of what it said. Kind of strange though that it took this long to not optimize up to 100%.
