ISP Average Download Speed: 7.34 mlbs
    My current Average Download Speed:4.08mlbs

My Average Upload Speed Before: 0.48 mlbs

These speeds show that you probably have a problem with your ISP. Has the rest of your computer been running slower?

We need to know about your network.

Are those results with an ethernet connection directly to the modem?

Any other computers, and what are their recorded speeds?

I have DSL and I notice is comes to a crawl sometimes. When it happens I reset the modem by unpluuging it from the power supply and wait 30 seconds. Upon reconnecting the speed is back to normal.

Always a good first step. Do the same with a router if present.

Um... Yes... I reset my modem if it gets slow sometimes. I recently ran a free lavasoft scan and found a trojen and removed it and the speed got high up after it but then it went back down to 6mlbs download.
