Hey All,

As an english major with a 4.0 major average I was not happy when i got back a paper full of errors. When going back to edit it i found that that my spell check hadn't been working. Although as an english i should be old-school and be able to spot misspelled word visually i've become way too dependent upon my spell check and i want it back.

I think my default dictionary has been deleted.

I'm running Windwos XP with Office XP (also know as Office 2002) specifically Word 2002 and my computer will not check words that are obviously (not obviously enough for me to catch) misspelled.

Help me turn eveil in to evil!

Thanks,
HRH

When you click on Tools, does Spelling & Grammar show up? Try pressing F7 to make it work, if not. If your spell checker is missing, you should be able to reinstall it.

Sorry, i just realized i was so caught up in the drama of it all that my information was very vague.

I can run spell check the problem it seems to run just fine, but it isn't picking up any of the misspelled words. It picks up the grammar still, but it didn't catch eveil vs. evil so it seems like it is only using my custom dictionary. If that makes sense... So everything pretty much appears to be fine, it appear inthe Tool and you can run it by selecting it manually or pushing F7, but it doesn't pick up on the misspelled words.
