Okay, I have a massive bootable .ISO file "3.56GB" to be exact, and since my dvd burner craped out 2 weeks ago, i need an alternative, is there ANY way i can shrink that 3.56gb .iso file into bootable segments "650mb - 700mb"?

Without knowing what the ISO actually is, the question cannot be answered.

While the answer is probably going to ne "no", knowing if this is a Linux Distro, another operating system of some sort or ? would be essential.

I can't imagine much of a possibility of splitting it up and having it be useful. As mentioned, it would be real useful to know what the content is...

There is a way to do this, WinRAR.

WinRAR can break up a file into segments that can later be extacted on another PC with WinRAR installed.

I forget how to do it, but people do it all the time with ISO's. If you have trouble doing it I can search around for the option when I get home.

EDIT: Just noticted you said bootable.... Hmmm... Now I'm with these guys... I'm not sure that is possible =p

Hahaha , I simply just split the files via PowerISO, I hit compress, and it showed many options , all i remember was there was an option on " Compress/Split " it split the file into 700mb incraments , I then copied the boot info. and simply made the 5 bootable cd's.
