Was wondering if anyone had any info on the following error:

Spool32 has caused an error on spool32exe. Spool 32 will now close. If you continue to experience problems try restarting your computer.

This occurs at random and sometimes does not go away no matter what and have to kill power to reboot.

    The os is ME.

A general rule of thumb is that whan a file faults in itself, (spool32.exe>spool32.exe), the file is likely corrupt.

    So try restoring spool32.exe.

You can do this in WinME by running msconfig and clicking the "extract one file" tab. You should have your Windows CD handy or point it to the c:\windows\options\cabs or c:\windows\options\install directory to "restore from" (whichever you have for hard drive cab files)
