For some reason over the last few months not all of my emails appear in Outlook. I use GoDaddy email. I log into my email account at GoDaddy and clean out/read most of them leaving only the ones I want to download to Outlook on my laptop. For example, let's say that leaves 20 emails in my GoDaddy inbox to download. I open Outlook, click on download and it says it is downloading 15 messages. 15 download. So I click on it again and it says 5 are downloading and only 3 download. When I go back to my GoDaddy inbox, all 20 messages are gone. However, the other 2 never arrived in Outlook. Suggestions? Thank you!
    (Windows 8.1, Outlook 2007 SP3)

On your GoDaddy account....make sure you have it set to "keep all emails on server". I don't use GoDaddy so I really can't advise on how to do that.

What Outlook are you using? The windows 10 built in App or Outlook from a MS Office version?

My question is why are you using 2 email clients? I assume GoDaddy is a web based client and Outlook either the app or the Office client. I don't see the point as it just creates problems as you have found out. I would just pick one and stick with it. Personally, I hate the Outlook App. I use Outlook 2016 email client to receive all my emails and never touch my web-based email accounts...like Google and Outlook.com

I'm not using two clients. I use GoDaddy. Outlook is merely part of the Office software on my laptop. I download email to it but I don't want to download ALL of my email. I get hundreds a day and it takes too long. If I get rid stuff on the GoDaddy server first, then I only have to download a small number of emails to store on my laptop. I don't want to use a web-based account only because of storage space restrictions and the fact that most only keep emails for a specified time - not permanently. Downloading is the only way to save them permanently.

I just reset the advanced options to leave email on the server after download. Then if it doesn't show up in Outlook I can try, try again, then log back into GoDaddy and delete it. That will work for my purposes for now.

If these emails you are deleting are of SPAM type, then you need to use the Junk mail functions within Outlook.

You may even want to look into the functions of "Rules" and what they can do for and redirecting these emails.
