The new version of Spy Sweeper is slowing down Internet Explorer. It will run fine at first, but after a little while of search the web, it gets really slow. If I exit IE and open it again, it works fine again. And if I shut down Spy Sweeper, I don't have any problems with IE. But I'd rather not do that because I like the protection it gives. Has anyone else had a problem with the new version of Spy Sweeper? Did you find anyway to fix it?

I noticed that thread after I made this one. Spy Sweeper just released another updated version, so I'll see if that fixes my problem. If not, I'll check the other thread for helpful ideas.

    Thanks.

If its version 5 then many people are haing trouble with it. Webroot is apparently refunind money to some people and/or giving them the older version(4.5) to use. Hopefully a new update will resolve the issue.
