I downloaded Spybot 1.5.2 the other day and did an immunize, check and fix. Since I downloaded the program, my computer is responding really slow. It loads websites slow and when I hit the "back" button on sites, it takes awhile to actually go back.

I have a Dell computer running Windows XP sp2 and have Road Runner cable for my internet supplier.

Has Spybot made my computer slow down? Should I just uninstall it? Or is there a way to change something on it to make it stop slowing down my computer? Any help is appreciated!

p.s. I have restarted my computer one or more times/day, and it's still acting slow.

    Thanks,
    Sue

Do you have any other protection software on your system? What do you use as an anti-virus?
