Spybot keeps showing wrong application paths for my Registry. I have tried to repair or set a new path, but no luck. Everythings seems to work okay, so should I remove the items Spybot finds, and restore them if there is a problem on down the road?

I've done some searches on the files, all of which are execution files, and discovered some of them may be spyware, but applications may not work correctly if I remove them. Could these be leftovers from previous scans/deletions.

    These are associated with HP:
    matcli.exe, mad.exe, MotiveDirectory.exe.

Minstall.exe is may have to do with my on-board modem, but a search shows I don't even have the file. How can there be a wrong path to a file that doesn't exist?

I have no idea what mpbtn.exe is associated with and it was not found in a search either.

wb32.exe is associated with Net Meeting which I never use and MsoHtmEd.exe is associated with Office.

Any help/advice would be appreciated, but please keep it fairly simple.....as that is what I am associated with. I know I shouldn't end a sentence with a preposition, but it sounds so awkward any other way, besides it's okay here in Texas.

    Thanks,
    Randall

Thanks, hansmax. I forgot that I had found that page during a websearch. I guess this one is no problem to delete, since I've never had AT&T broadband. (So why the execution file I wonder?)
