    *****************************
I POSTED AN UPDATED HJT LOG AT THE BOTTOM OF THE THREAD (& deleted the old one), so you may want to start from the bottom up.
    *****************************

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give me a hand. We've been hit by some spyware/adware crap & I can't seem to shake it. We also had hacktool.rootkit, but I *think* I've managed to clean that up. I think I've identified the problem area (see red text below), but I'm not sure how to go about fixing it. Any help is appreciated.

I'm running XP SP2. HJT is in a permanent folder & not on desktop.

    Thanks,
    Maggie

Okay, I give up. I have poked around & tried some suggestions from other threads here, but I'm still inundated with pop-ups. I have redundant protection but things are still getting through. I've included some addtional info about what I'm using & I've pasted an updated HJT log below.

Please help!!! Pretty please, with sugar on top!!!
    Maggie

    Webroot Spy Sweeper (v 5.5.1.3356)

    AVG Anti-Spyware (v 7.5.1.43 trial)
