I run Ad Aware and have a shocking amount of spyware, where it has come from, I don't know. I get AdAware to remove it all, but it cause problems with my computer. After removing them, I can not display web pages. I restart and I get an error message saying something about C++ run error in regards to BT Broadband help. cant log onto the net (trying to freezes my computer) and System Restore fails to work properly. I have to restart my computer and boot it using the last known good settings THEN run system restore to get it working again.

Remove New.net from Add or Remove Programs.

Scan with HijackThis, put a checkmark at and "Fix checked" the following entries. Close all windows except HijackThis before fixing.

I assume this is your old ISP. You can fix these as well.

    Restart your computer.

Download Spybot S&D. Update SS&D via the "Online" tab. Search for and download all updates. Close all windows except SS&D, hit "Check for problems". After scan hit "Fix selected problems".

    Hi Top Banana,

I am trying to learn to read HJT logs and was waiting for someone to check this log so I could compare it to my own recommendations. I was unsure on a couple of things p2p networking was one and also Ebatesmoe money maker.

However I also thought this line should be fixed.

Have you just missed it, or is there no need to fix it ?

    Thanks,
    EvileYe.
