I am looking for a program that I can install on a centralized server and run scans from single client machines. I am not aware of anything that will let me do this. I have about 300 machines and need something besides installing on 300 machines. I would like to hear all suggestions on ways to handle this task.

Hi, Here are some- I think most of them have Client and Server modules, and the scans can be started at either end...

The main attraction of these network type is that scans can be run from the server or admin end...

are you sure you want clients doing scans?

All of these have requirements as to what the server is running for Operating System , and what the clients are using, too.

Hard to believe, but PCTools is offering a free edition for up to 500 seats....

    Enterprise editions....

Are any of these what you had in mind, there are several more companies who produce excellent
    networkable editions.

NO Sir, but I would say from looking at lots of posts here, their products are being used a lot.

I am referring to the home user program they also put out...not their network program, but they have a good enough reputation.

I could try to find some more about it...
