Spyware - Tracking Cookies ???

    Hope this ain't a silly ? from a newbie

    I realise that most tracking cookies are totally harmless, but do they actually take up bandwidth, thus slowing down ones connection :confused:

    The bandwidth issue would be pretty minimal and not much you can do about it one way or another. Once the cookie is on the system it is static until accessed by the website that placed it.

    Even blocking cookies takes up bandwidth.
