It's probably a dumb question but here goes anyway.
I'm looking to use an mp3 search programme called "Twister" and I've seen some comments saying it has spyware and some say it's not. Is there a site where I can check if a programme is carrying spyware/adware?
Thanks for any advice, Doug.

I do not know if the Twister program has spyware or adware, but the folks over at SpywareInfo Forums probably do. Go post the question there. Hope you get your answer.

Many reports say that the free vbersion is riddled with spyware, but the paid for version is spyware free.

It says that it uses the web based search engines to find the mp3's so why not cut out the middle man and use google/yahoo/altavista etc yourself
