    hi guys,
    how the blazes do i get rid of all the spyware on my pc. my local pc repair shop wanna charge me £60.00 to do it for me. cant afford it.
    all help will be welcome. cheers debbie

    Hi, Debbie. Reid has given you good starting advice, but you may need more assistance than that. Give it a try anyway, and see if you have an improvement. If you're still having problems, you'll need to download and install Hijack This! and post a log from it. One of the experts will look it over and walk you through cleaning up your system. Be patient, on the weekend there aren't as many people here to help as during the week. In the meantime, go ahead and run Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy, mark and delete everything that they find.

    Jusy wondering if you updated both programs prior to running them. If not it is in your best interest to do so. Then re-scan.

    Just a recommendation but I would worry at least a little. One of the previous posters suggested you download HijackThis. Once again it would be in your best interest take his advice. You may want to go to the security forum and read some of the post there. It will explain exactly where to go to get the download, what to do and how to do it.
