I am not sure if I am asking at the right forum. But I currently use SQL Server 2000 for my website applications on Windows 2003.

I am planning to do a new application that will use an SQL Server 2005 database. The application is intended to be used in a website to register users to an event and we expect a not more than 5000 users to register or visit the website.

    My questions are:

1- Will SQL Server 2005 Express edition be enough in this case for this website application? We do not expect the database to grow larger than 4GB.

2- Will SQL Server 2005 work side by side with SQL 2000 without any conflict? and if there is any confilct how can it be avoided?

3- What are the limitations of saving the database files inside the App_Data folder?

I need to make a decision on using the SQL Server 2005 Express and your recommendation in this regards is appreciated.

If this topic is not posted at the right forum, please guide me where should I discuss such issues.

    Thanks to all!
