I am having an issue when I try to get into SQL Server Configuration Manager, on my Windows 2003 SP2 server. When I try to open the program I get the error message:
Cannot connect to WMI provider. You do not have permission or the server is unreachable. Note that you can only manage SQL Server 2005 servers with SQL Server Configuration Manager. Invalid Class [0x80041010]
Any ideas. I am running the program from the server, logged on locally as administrator. The databases work fine, as I know the programs that use those DBs work. I need to get into the DBs and set up backups, etc, but I dont know how else to get in.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
