I can’t figure this, When my friend start his computer it goes though the usual startup, and when it gets to windows, an old screen saver he installed a while back comes up instead of his desktop! He’s has a key on his keyboard for standby, and when he hits that he gets back to windows. The screen saver was from webshot, he installed it some time back. But this just started to happen out of nowhere. I told him to uninstall Webshots but it wasn’t there in add/remove programs. We looked in Start / Programs, but it wasn’t there. Looked in the Program directory, it wasn’t there either! I disabled the screen saver but I’m still getting it at startup. I did a system restore to before Webshots and I’m still getting this thing!! I did a full system scan for viruses and came up clean. What the #$%* is going on here??? How do I get rid of this thing?
