I’m very new to this whole pc deal. About a year ago I really wanted to get a pc so I earned enough money to make my own! I was sure I had everything so started building, many challenges were encountered but I got it to turn on! Lately everything is so stinking slow and from what I hear it’s my ssd. I thought I got one but it doesn’t show up in my drivers so was wondering how to know if I have a hard drive or SSD?

I think you looked in Disk Management, please look in Device Manager :-

Hold down the Windows key and press R
    type DEVMGMT.MSC and press Enter
click the > next to Disk drives

copy what appears into your reply.

You appear to have a ssd and a 1TB spin drive. There are numerous reasons why a system is slow. In order to help you, you need to post all of your exact system specs along with the exact pw supply you installed.
    Run this utility and post the output here;

I really don't understand. You built your own PC and don't know if you have an ssd?

How large is the ADATA SU800? How much free space is on it?

Please reply to crjdriver in post #7 so we can try to help you with your computer's slowness issue.

    Here are more specific instructions:

Download and save the TSG System Information Utility (SysInfo.exe) file.
After it's been downloaded and saved, double-click it to run it.
Information about your computer will appear.
Return here, then copy-and-paste its entire text in your reply.

It took you 14 - 16 days to reply back to crjdriver and myself.
Are you dealing with this same issue in other help forums besides this one?

Your log shows some things that are probably contributing to the slowness issue.
    1. Its motherboard supports up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM, but yours has a measly 4 GB.
You need to increase it to at least 16 GB.
    2. 640 GB (69%) of its 930 GB capacity hard drive is being used.
Unless its loaded with personal data, that equates to numerous installed apps and a large number of running processes.

If you installed 2 4 GB modules in your computer when you built it, you should know what DDR4 speed they are.
If you don't, the information will be on their labels.

I have no idea why your log is showing only 4 GB of RAM instead of 8 GB.
Go into Settings, then go into System, then select About.
In the Device Specifications section, what does it show for the amount of installed RAM?
