Hi guys! I need your help please.

After reformating my drive, something weird is happening. Whenever I put the pc on "stand by" mode, and try later on, to restart it. It reboots instead of returning to the desktop. I have no idea how to fix this please help me out here. My comp. is an HP AMD 3000, 160 HD 512 ram and I'm running XP home edition. Any help will be very appreciated.

Lucas, why did you put your computer on stand-by? My XP Pro has it greyed out. Have heard some horror stories on putting computers on stand-by.
