I've used Open Office for a couple of years.
I bought a computer [for the 1st time] 3 years ago HP a710e, when the trial of MSword ran out, I downloaded OO. Works ok but I struggle sometimes w/the basic stuff. 9 months ago I got an old laptop w/a full version of MS office & had to learn to generate & use Spreadsheets. I've moved back & forth between the 2 programs.
The biggest difference I can find is the help works much better for Excel, especially for formulas. it will basically tell you which formula to use & how to create it.

I'm looking for feedback about the help system on star office, is it an improvement compared to OO.
Compare & contrast Star office to MS.

I already promote OO, I'm wondering what the difference is between OO & star office?
