Here's what's happening. I was invited to early access on Tuesday, I downloaded the game client several days before, and began playing all day Tuesday. Well I started to get the Blue Screen of death, so I had to do a system restore. Now I cannot even log into the launcher. It either freezes, crashes, ect.... I cannot get a hold of technical support. Now here is where it get's interesting. On my Laptop I can download, log in, and patch the game. The laptop isn't even close to the desktop.

Specs Below:
Graphics Card, GT 520
4 GB Ram
Terra hard drive
AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250 Processor 3.0 Ghz
64-bit operating system.

If you want to do a remote desktop connection I'd be more than happy to obliged just to get the sucker to work.

Here are the official SWTOR system requirements:

Processor:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ or better or Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2.0GHz or better

Operating System:
Windows XP/Vista/7

RAM:
Windows XP: 1.5GB
Windows Vista and Windows 7: 2GB
PCs using a built-in graphical chipset are recommended to have 2GB RAM

Graphics Card:
ATI X1800 or better*
nVidia 7800 or better*
Intel 4100 Integrated Graphics or better*

DVD-ROM:
8x or better

*Minimum of 256MB of on-board RAM and Shader 3.0 or better support.

Go to http://www.canyourunit.com and check to see if it passes the minimum.

If it does, my next question is are other games causing the system to lock up or freeze?

You may need to do compatibility mode for XP.
