start button

hi
my problem is that
i want to display system date on adjact start button instead of right side of taskbar of win_xp desktop.
ie... i want to display system date where start is written on the start button
please send me reply on my email- ravimca_ravi@yahoo.co.in

What on earth would cause you to want to do that? You can't get there from here and BTW posting your email addy for all to see is inviting spam or something worse.

It is possible... but I don't know if you would like the result. The start button is part of explorer.exe. So you would need a program that terminates explorer.exe, automatically edits the file to insert the current date text at the appropriate place in the file, and then restart explorer.exe. It would maybe not be too annoying if scheduled to occur at some time of day when you don't use the computer.
