When I first turn on my computer, it loads a whole bunch of programs and I cant figure out how to get it to stop. I bring up Ctrl+Alt+Del and have been closing the programs manually, but it's getting pretty tedious doing it every time.

If your are running Windows 98/ME Run MSCONFIG and click on the Startup tab. You can uncheck what you don't need or re-check one if you find you needed it, so it's safe to experiment.
