On start up is interrupted asking to press either f1 to get in Bios to sort it out & set date/time or f2 for defaults.

Whichever I choose it still does same on every star up. Can you help?

ASUS P5K Premium/WiFi-AP (support site)
This is a very old model motherboard that was designed for Windows XP and Windows Vista.
It has no driver support for any operating system newer than Windows 7 32/64-bit.
How exactly did you install Windows 10 in it?

Glad to hear you got it resolved.
CMOS batteries last 7 - 10 years before needing to be replaced, so yours was in need of replacement.
