Start up interrapted

    On start up is interrupted asking to press either f1 to get in Bios to sort it out & set date/time or f2 for defaults.

    Whichever I choose it still does same on every star up. Can you help?


    Home build, Asus P5K Premium wifi Intel,
    Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 95W 2.4GHz, 2x2GB, 240-pin DIMM, DDR2 800 (400mhz) PC2-6400, EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX Seagate sata 500gb, Corsair TX750M Psu, X45, w10

    ASUS P5K Premium/WiFi-AP (support site)
    This is a very old model motherboard that was designed for Windows XP and Windows Vista.
    It has no driver support for any operating system newer than Windows 7 32/64-bit.
    How exactly did you install Windows 10 in it?

    had this mobo for a few years & the w10 2-3 yrs with no such or other problem.

    As another suggestion said, I changed the CMOS battery & now is OK. ..........thanx

    Glad to hear you got it resolved.
    CMOS batteries last 7 - 10 years before needing to be replaced, so yours was in need of replacement.
