Once upon a time i found an awesome tutorial video that took you step by step thru the process of picking your start-up programs. It even showed how to do a search for each program so that you could ID and then make the decision whether to enable or disable it.

Any know the video i'm talking about??

Thanks for any and all help.

You can run MSCONFIG, go to the Startup tab and see what programs are set to load automatically.

I remember that much, but when it comes time to ID the programs that aren't necessary is when i get in over my head.
