How does one customize the number of applications that start up and display in the lower RIGHT hand corner of the bottom tool bar(i.e I have too many things starting up on my computer when I turn it on at any given time)?

Thanks for answering such a silly question(I just could not find it).

win98/me you can go to start/run/type msconfig and press enter.
Go to the startup tab, that's the list of everything that starts with your computer. Uncheck the items you don't want to start up.
You can manually start them if you should need them.

Win95 startupcop can be downloaded and used, works well
win2k you can download a version of msconfig that will work.

Let us know if you need a link to startupcop or the 2k msconfig
