It could well be a Back Orifice or other trojan.

Uncheck it, and reboot.

Now download a trial version of The Cleaner , update with Moolive after D/L, and deep-scan your drives.

Good luck,

I downloaded the Cleaner, ran it , and nothing came up. I will leave WPCycle.exe unchecked to see if any problems occur. Thanks for your help.

That's good news.

There's not much that can be found on this file. It leaves everyone guessing, but it isn't a Windows file, and therefore isn't required.

Do a search for the file, rightclick it, and choose properties. Does it reveal anything?
You could also rename it to Wpcycle.old in order to render it even more harmless.

In that case it could just be a desktop theme (a wallpaper) , and no trojan.
Connectix is a legitimate company: http://www.alamopc.org/mag/rev327.html

You must have downloaded it sometime ago.

Well, if you don't know what it is, and you're not using it, you might as well get rid of it, I guess.

Good luck,
