I posted somewhere on here that i got my sister's computer at a flea market and had trouble with figuring the sucker out. anyway that problem is solved and i was able to load up windows xp pro. well my brother in law matt wanted the DVD Drive running. well i connected everything correctly, now it won't start up and makes a 2 second beeeeeep followed by 2 beep beep. (hmmmm... shouldn't have done that for him. told him once i fix it, stick with external devices from now on) what's the deal? I disconnected the 3 hard drives and the same thing happens. Disconnected everything else (the fans lead to same result,) then connected everything back up and nothing. it's not a bad motherboard cause i was able to run the system.

Most likely just something loose from being in the case. Remove and replace aall cables and cards and RAM sticks to be sure they are all seated as they should be.
