There are several items there that need attention.

First, are you familiar with this, and can you vouch for it?

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [aim ping] C:\PROGRA~1\Objload\MAGS FRAG.exe

What else is in the "objload" folder in c:\Program Files

If you cannot vouch for it, use HijackThis to "fix" the entry and delete the folder "objload". You will probably need to reboot, possibly in Safe Mode to delete the folder.

Second, this is a "non-standard" location for the "hosts" file:

O1 - Hosts file is located at: C:\WINNT\nsdb\hosts

Check and "fix" that entry, after rebooting delete the folder "nsdb".

Download, unzip and run "hoster", it will ensure a proper default "hosts" file gets setup: http://members.aol.com/toadbee/hoster.zip

Also check and "fix":

O18 - Filter: text/html - {4F7681E5-6CAF-478D-9CB8-4CA593BEE7FB} - C:\WINNT\System32\xplugin.dll

http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?vname=TROJ_ESEPOR.A

Please follow up by including a new HijackThis Scanlog posted to this thread. Do not start a new thread or you will lose continuity.

I checked both items 1 and 3: both directories did not exist on my PC. So I just fixed the two items with Hijackthis.

The second point required to just simply delete the mentioned directory. I agree that Hosts should not be there.

I don't see any problems evident in the current Scanlog. Are you still getting bugged with "ccsearch"?

If so, can you give me a little more detail on what you are seeing and when you see it?

All I can find about it is evidently their home page: http://www.ccmac.com/html/t_frm_ccsearch.html

Since this involves search pages, another thing you should do is go to Internet Options > Programs tab and select "reset web settings". This will reset to the standard MS defaults the search page associations in IE.
