Greetings Friend

OS:Vista Home Premium. Windows media player will notplayback sound recorder file after Ihave saved it. Neither will it play back the audio on a lifecam file afterrecording. ( Vision is OK ). Both these issues arose at the same time..so therecould be a connect. I have Audacity on my system, and it records and plays backjust fine. Lifecam camera is a vx3000. Microphone is working. Sound meterregisters on sound recorder. all levels are set correctly on all devices. Havetried system restore. Have uninstalled and re installed software. Have tried Mr fixit. For some reason WMP isjust not playing back the audio on freshly recorded files (Lifecam + soundrecorder). Wmp is working just fine when playing back existing music on mysystem. as I say it is only freshly recorded stuff that will not playback!

I have tried every suggestion in the on line forums..noluck. So here is a challenge for you.

Hope you can solve this issue for me. Whoever you are J

Regards

uninstalling and reinstalling sound card software ( Realtech) has solved the problem regarding Vista sound recorder, however, Lifecam ( audio ) will still not playback in WMP ( vision is fine)
