Hiya. Normally, i'm good with finding information about these stupid windows xp errors, but today, it seems that i'm unable to find help. My friends computer was fine 4 hours ago. We were playing games over a Lan and such with no issues at all. He shut the thing down properly and went home. I go to turn it on to transfer a game file over to his computer, and his primary IDE doesn't work. So figuring maybe something was wrong with his board, i cleared cmos and restarted. Both drives came back up and booted to windows. I went to my computer to find the file i wanted to send the computer, and i got the stop code, which followed by a complete dump and restart. Now the drives don't show up again. Is it his board that is causing the problem? He has a asus p4s533 board with 1 gig of memory and 3 total harddrives along with a burner. Processor is a 1.8 p4 overclocked to 2.4, but i have clocked it back down to 1.8 figuring that may be the issue as well. Any insight on this issue would be great. Thanks for the help.
