A few days ago, computer was exhibiting kinda strange behavior. When I would click on icon, browser icon, or even pics, it would give message was i sure i wanted to send the file to the recycle bin?

I ran Norton, malwarbytes, search destroy, etc.

It seems to be ok now, but not sure everything is right here. Ran Hijack This and got following message:

"For some reason your system denied write access to the Hosts file. If any hijacked domains are in this file, Hijack This may NOT be able to fix this.

If that happens, you need to edit the file yourself. To do this, click Start, Run and type:

    notepad C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

and press Enter. Find the line(Hijack This reports and delete them. Save the file as 'hosts' (with quotes, and reboot.

For Vista: simply, exit HijackThis, right click on the HijackThis icon, choose "Run as administrator"

I tried these instructions, but didn't seem to do anything.

Any ideas as to how I can check my computer to see if anything weird going on?

    Running Windows 7.

    Thanks for any tips.
