Please do this:

First create a permanent folder somewhere like in My Documents and name it Hijack This.

Now Click here to download Hijack This. Download it and click "Save". Save it to the Hijack This folder you just created.

Click on Hijackthis.exe to launch the program. Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log. Click "Save" to save the log file and then the log will open in notepad.

Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" then Paste the log back here in a reply.

DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

I don't see anything unusual there. Is it enabled? Can you see the file path there? I can't see it in the pic.

Click here to download xprunregquery.zip. Download it and unzip it to your desktop.

Doubleclick on the xprunregquery.bat file. It will open a Look.txt file. Save the Look.txt and attach it to your next post. Don't copy and paste it.

Go to Start > Run and type in regedit. Click OK. Navigate to this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion

Right click on CurrentVersion and choose "Export". Name it CurrenVersion.reg and save it to your desktop. Put it in a zip file and attach it to your next post here..

Also look and see if you have these folders:

C:\Program Files\Media Access
C:\Program Files\winupdates

If you do, delete them.

He asked is it harmful. I don't know what it is. Do you?

I'm trying to find out. Your post offered nothing in regards to answering the question.

The programs and scripts that we use to help people are NOT garbage. They are ingeniously written by people who are committed to stamping out the garbage that gets installed on computers.

It's important to find out what unknown entries are so we can determine if they are harmless or not. Hiding them will not fix the problems and we are not here to apply bandaids. We want to completely eradicate all forms of scumware. Flrman1 devotes countless, I repeat, countless, hours of his personal time to this cause and you have no right to question his methods.

If, after all of our efforts, something proves to be valid and harmless, then at least the poster will have peace of mind and we will have the satisfaction of knowing that we went the distance and did what we set out to do.

If you have nothing of value to offer a poster to help, then I suggest that you sit back and watch. You may learn something in the process.
