So this is my first time on these forums, read through that new members thing quickly and hopefully I'm doing everything right!

Anyway, I don't know what happened but lately my internet has been very screwy. In both firefox and ie, the majority of pages I load appear twice on my screen. As in the whole site will load and then load itself again in the same window right below the original. This in itself wouldn't be an issue really, but on sites such as hotmail and facebook, everything seems to slow down and eventually just ends up unresponsive. In both browsers popups appear randomly as well.

In ie, when things slow down i get a message saying: "stack overflow at line: 2" There's also one that pops up about a script being unresponsive.

I've currently got around the problem by downloading google chrome, which seems to be immune to the issues at least for now. I booted in safe mode and everything seemed to run fine it that, but I don't really know what that means. I've used AVG to scan for viruses, and ad-aware to look for spyware. AVG found nothing, and ad-aware found a few threats which I killed but the problems are persisting. Even seems like pop-ups are become more frequent...

Anyway, here's my log from HijackThis. Hopefully that and the description above will be enough that some one can help... if not I'm looking at a reformat in the near future

Thanks in advanced!

Hi Welcome to TSG!!

Please visit this webpage for instructions for downloading and running ComboFix.

Post the log from ComboFix when you've accomplished that, along with a new HijackThis log.
