I have a problem currently with my laptop when I connect to the internet, I can only describe this strange phenomenon as a delayed internet connection - basically when I connect to the internet my browser - firefox, connects to websites almost instantaneously; im connected to a wireless network with a netgear router.

And then after about 10 minutes my connection becomes somewhat delayed, when i connect to a website it takes atleast 10 seconds or more for the website to load (streams are slow also), according to my handy little 'fasterfox page load timer' addon it tells me that it has taken 16 seconds for this website to load correctly. At first I thought this had something to do with spyware/viruses , I scanned my HD and low and behold I had about 30 trojans (doh!) my AV software deleted those pesky viruses but just to be sure I reformatted, so here I am on a clean install of windows vista and I still have the same problem - I scanned my HD again and I had no viruses or spyware. I think its best at this point to mention that the other computers on my network are not effected by this strange phenomonon, the only program that seems to get round this stupid problem is uTorrent - With uTorrent I am still pulling speeds of over 1mb.

What really flabbergasts me is that the connection only begins to drop after 10 minutes connected to the internet, it is also rather strange that uTorrent isn't affected by my 'problem'.

At the moment I am at a loss of what I should do...?

Im running a clean Vista 32bit install
All my drivers are currently up to date also
The model of my laptop is Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile v5155

Im open to any kind of advice or offers of help, Let me know if you would like to run the Hijack this program......

Thanks!
