Okay, here's the deal; I just got a new barebone system from Fry's Electronics Outpost...And there's no place to plug in my monitor o_O there is even the little monitor symbol down on the back of the computer near the COM ports, but no plug for the monitor. Anyone have any ideas what the freak is going on?

Check the specs on the system for a graphics card - my local comp store does bare bones systems which you need to put in your own.

Bare bones usually means a box, mobo, cpu and fan. Sometimes you get onboard sound and video but that depends on the mobo supplied.

Check the specs for the motherboard. If there is no onboard video you will need a video card.
