Strange vista start up

    Not a big deal but when the vista logo comes up with the sound, its jerky and freezes for like a sec then its ok and i can log in, why does it load up all jerky like this?

    this is your computer struggling to run all the stuff whilst booting - the log in sound and screen changing all at same time while windows loads - XP can sometimes do the same - its usually because its trying to load the startup sound from the hard-drive whilst it as also loading startup programs - this is usually a sign that theres too much stuff running at boot aswell - try cleaning out temp files then using MSCONFIG remove startup entrys you dont need ...
