Hi.

I accidentally pulled the plug out of my computer when it was in the middle of shutting down. Now that I've tried to reboot it, I get a screen saying:

Safe Mode
Safe Mode With Networking
Safe Mode With Command Prompt
Last Known Good Configuration
Start Windows Normally

Whenever I click on any of the options above, I always ends up back at the same screen, suggest the above options again. I've tried rebooting I again a few times but nothing works?

Any ideas?
Thanks.

As huggie54 said, you'll need your Windows XP OS DVD.

Either that or a Recovery Disk or Recovery Partition that came with the machine.

Do you have any of these?

Thanks both for the results but I've actually lost both of the disks. Can you simply buy a new one or does it have to be a certain specifically made one to suit your PC?

You likely won't be able to purchase a copy of Windows XP easily nowadays.

Your best bet is to call the manufacturer of your PC and request a Recovery Disk.

Also, what's the make and model of the problem PC?
