Hi - Can't print anytime - spent most of my morning trying to figure out how to get rid of this run time error 216 @ 3dbiaba5 that i receive every time I try to print something online and then shuts all my windows down, including any open browsers (FF and IE8). Just tried printing out a picture and nothing, shuts the picture page down. Malwarebytes' came up fine, along with my virus scans. Not sure where to go from here. Would really appreciate any & all help. Thanks :( I wasn't sure where to post this since it start out a printing issue and might actually be a virus problem.

You could post your HijackThis log and see if anything shows up

    Download HijackThis to your desktop
    • Double click on HJTSetup.exe on your Desktop
    • Click Run and Install
    • It will install to Program files by default
    • it will launch Hijack This
    • Click on "scan system and save a logfile" usually in notepad
    • Copy and Paste the logfile in your next post
    • Using Ctrl+A to copy All and Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste.

thanks - went to the first site, it won't let me make a copy of the "Copying Regedit.exe to Regedit.com" - states that if you are unable to do this, stop. I am totally at a loss when it comes to working with the registry - next suggestion?

Thank you both for your quick responses. Ran all my scans, all clear - Adaware, Malwarebytes, AVG - checked all my connections, all good. Still could not make a copy of the registry so I didn't touch that - deleted and reinstalled my printer driver and now can print. So how do I further determine if my computer does have this subseven virus?
