can anyone advise?

2 laptops, one shared wireless router, wireless printer also on network

suddenly her's won't connect to internet but mine does

hers shows she is connected to the router

she can print wirelessly via the router to the printer

diagnostic fails to identify problem

I deleted the network on her computer and reconnected her - it found the router, asked for the key, and accepted it, says she is now connected

but still no internet connection

If I type in the ip address of the router on my laptop it connects me to router menu, if I do it on hers it comes up not found

What's the make, model, and running operating system of the problem PC?

Does it connect to the internet via Safe Mode With Networking?

TCP/IP stack repair options for use with Vista or Windows 7

Start, All Programs\Accessories and right click on Command Prompt, select "Run as Administrator" to open a command prompt.

In the command prompt window that opens, type the following commands, each followed by the Enter key:

Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset IPv4 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults: netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

Reset IPv6 TCP/IP stack to installation defaults: netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

Reboot the machine.
