Maxtor Diamond Max 250 GB SATA 16 MB 7200 RPM hard drive

This is the drive I am thinking of purchasing. I have an Asus P4C-800 E-Deluxe motherboard, and I already have an IDE hard drive.

Just wondering if anyone knows if this drive performs well and is reliable. Or should I go with a different SATA drive? Any suggestions will be helpful.

    Thanks

I've always been fond of Western Digital, Seagate and Maxtor, I've never had any major problems with any of them.

Thanks for the info. My current HD is WD. I was thinking of going either WD or Maxtor.
