As a newbie I have noticed this problem throughout the message boards but I have never really seen a definate answer given for it.The suggestion is always that it is a virus or a worm but I have seldom seen anyone that had the problem send back a reply that "EUREKA,my problem has been solved."Maybe it is a processer problem or a Windows problem, but it seems to be a fairly widespread one that needs to be addressed.
My Compaq Presario freezes and when I go to Task Manager it shows that svchost.exe is driving my CPU usage to 100 percent.Sometimes the curser also freezes up and I have to shut my machine down manually.I am running NAV Corporate Edition with a firewall in place and yesterday ran a Panda Scan that showed "no viruses detected".Help!

    To fix this one:
O10 - Broken Internet access because of LSP provider 'spsublsp.dll' missing

Click on the link below to get lsp-fix.
Run that to fix your internet connection.

    http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

Check the box that says "I know what I'm doing". Click "Finish"

    Reboot.

Run HJT again and put a check against these:

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Weather] C:\Program Files\AWS\WeatherBug\Weather.exe 1
    O4 - Global Startup: Compaq Connections.lnk = C:\Program Files\Compaq Connections\1940576\Program\BackWeb-1940576.exe

Close all browser windows and applications before clicking "fix checked".

Reboot your machine and delete this folder:
    C:\Program Files\AWS
