so evetime I download a game or just something that needs to be stored in a space it always choses my SSD even though I set my download location to my HDD. because i don't want to run my SSD storage high because its 500gb but my HDD 2tb, or would it just be best to let my SSD fill up then let everything else that doesn't fit go towards my HDD. Please let me know what's best!!!

Hello, Eloymtz, and welcome to TSG.

Looking at your screen capture, are we safe to assume you are running Windows 10 and downloading using the Chrome web browser for your downloads?

Did you just change the download location as part of the download or did you go into Chrome's settings and change the default download location?

Is the Windows 10 default download folder on the SSD or HDD drive?

As this problem is most likely browser related, I am moving it to our Web & Email forum.

It is also past my bedtime. I will be getting off the computer shortly and be back in about 12 hours. Some other members may join in sooner to assist you.

It is in settings > advanced:

When you click Downloads, the first open is to choose the location for your downloaded files.
